Integrations and tools
Last updated: May 24, 2026
Agents connect to the tools your team already uses, so workflow output lands exactly where it needs to go. Integrations are configured once per organization and are then available to any Agent.
CMS integrations
A content management system (CMS) is the platform your team uses to create, store, and publish web content: articles, landing pages, product descriptions, and more. Connecting your CMS to Profound Agents means content generated inside a workflow can be pushed directly into your CMS without any manual copy-and-paste step.
Profound Agents support the following CMS platforms:
Basehub
Contentful
Framer
Notion
Payload
Sanity
Webflow
WordPress
All CMS integrations follow a common flow:
Find the integration. It's usually named after the service you want to integrate: WordPress, Framer, and so on.
Choose the action you want to take: list articles, get content, publish content, and so on.
Add an Agent node with the action and fill in the required fields: your site or workspace identifier and any necessary credentials. Follow the instructions on the node setup screen.
CMS integrations close the loop between AEO insight and action: use Agents to identify content gaps, generate optimized articles, and publish them in a single automated pipeline.
Multiple CMS accounts can be connected to the same Profound organization. If your team manages more than one site or content environment, configure each separately and select it per Agent.
SEO tools
Profound Agents can pull data from traditional SEO platforms, letting you combine search engine performance signals with AEO metrics in a single workflow. This is especially useful for teams that want to prioritize content efforts using both classic keyword data and AI search visibility.
Semrush
The Semrush nodes let you query Semrush data directly within an Agent. Common use cases include:
Pulling keyword volume and difficulty data to prioritize which topics to optimize first.
Retrieving domain or page-level organic traffic data to identify underperforming content.
Combining Semrush keyword data with Profound's Answer Engine Insights to build a unified view of content performance across both traditional search and AI search.
Feeding Semrush signals into an LLM node to generate data-backed content briefs automatically.
DataforSEO
DataforSEO nodes give you access to a broad set of SEO data signals, including SERP results, keyword data, backlink metrics, and on-page data. Use the DataforSEO integration to:
Retrieve live SERP data for specific queries as part of a content research workflow.
Pull keyword metrics to supplement Profound's AEO data when building content strategies.
Automate competitive research by fetching ranking data and passing it into an AI analysis step.
Google Search
The Google Search node retrieves live search results for a given query and makes that data available to other nodes in your Agent. It's a lightweight way to bring real-world search context into your workflows without leaving Profound.
Use the Google Search node to:
Research what currently ranks for a target keyword before generating a content brief.
Identify the top-ranking pages on a topic so an LLM node can analyze their content and suggest differentiated angles.
Cross-reference Google search results with Profound's AEO data to spot gaps between what ranks in traditional search and what appears in AI responses.
To use the node, add it to your Agent, enter a static query or pass a variable from a previous step, and configure the number of results to return. The output is a structured list of URLs and page titles that can be passed to any subsequent node.
Communications and productivity
Agents can deliver outputs directly to the tools your team communicates and works in, so results don't sit in a dashboard waiting to be found.
Supported integrations:
Slack — Notify your team when an Agent run completes, share AEO performance snapshots, flag content that needs attention, or deliver automated reports on a schedule.
Gamma — Generate slide decks, visibility reports, and client-ready presentations in your workspace based on the output of previous Agent steps.
Google Drive — Save content generated by Agent steps as files in Google Drive, making them accessible to your team.
Website builders
Connecting a website builder to Profound Agents lets you take AEO insights all the way to publishing new pages, without any manual development step. Use these integrations when your workflow needs to go beyond updating existing content and create or deploy new pages.
Supported integrations:
Vercel — Generate and deploy new web pages directly from within a workflow, using Profound data and AI-generated content as inputs.
Custom API and more
The Call API node lets you connect Agents to any service that exposes a REST or GraphQL API, including internal tools, data platforms, analytics systems, and third-party services not covered by native integrations. This makes Agents highly extensible: if a platform has an API, Profound can integrate with it.
Additional integrations available through the Call API node include Shopify for e-commerce workflows and Looker Studio for reporting pipelines.
