Who can access Activity Logs?
The logs contain sensitive information about your organization, so access is limited to Admin users.
Which events do Activity Logs capture?
Activity Logs record high-impact, user-triggered events. View the full list in Activity Logs documentation.
Do Activity Logs include API or MCP activity?
No. Activity Logs record events from the Profound platform. Requests made through the API, the MCP server, or elsewhere outside the platform don't appear in the logs.
Why do some entries name Profound as the actor?
Some actions are performed by Profound on your organization's behalf, for example, during support work. The log attributes these to Profound so you can distinguish them from actions taken by your team.
Why am I not seeing any events prior to July 24, 2026?
Activity Logs started collecting events on July 24, 2026, so earlier events aren't available.
Can I connect logged changes to visibility results?
Yes. Activity Logs record each change with a timestamp. Line up the changes (such as Agent runs) against your visibility trends in Answer Engine Insights to understand the connection.
