Create and Manage Brand Kits
Last updated: November 21, 2025
Brand Kits are brand personas that allow Profound to create and optimize content aligned with a specific brand’s identity. They also allow you to define and manage multiple brands within the same Profound account.
Create a Brand Kit
You can access Brand Kits from the Brand Hub in the left navigation bar. To create a Brand Kit, click “+ Create new Brand Kit.”

This opens a prompt to input the URL of the brand’s landing page. Profound will analyze the domain and automatically generate a brand identity broken down into two main categories: Brand Information and Writing Style. It will also extract a writing sample and generate a description of its style.
Brand Information
Brand Information provides a high-level overview of the brand and includes:
About the Brand - This describes the brand’s mission, values, and unique character.
Ideal Customer Profile - Summary of key characteristics of target customers.
Competitors - A list of the brand’s main competitors.
Brand Point of View - The brand’s unique perspective and stance.
Brand Writing Style
Brand Writing Style provides an overview of how the brand communicates. It includes:
Author Persona - The character the brand writes as.
Tone of Voice - A summary of the brand tone.
Writing Rules - Specific writing rules the brand follows.
Brand Writing Sample
A Brand Writing Sample is extracted from the brand’s website and analyzed to help define the writing style.
