Using Prompt Volumes with Agents

Prompt Volumes data can be pulled directly into Profound's Agents using the Prompt Volumes node in the Agent builder.

What the Prompt Volumes node does

The Prompt Volumes node retrieves keyword volume data from your Prompt Volumes dataset and surfaces it as structured output within your Agent. Use this node when you want to:

• Pull volume trends for specific keywords as part of an automated content strategy workflow

• Feed keyword frequency data into a 📄 Prompt LLMnode for analysis, prioritization, or content brief generation

• Monitor keyword volume changes over time as part of a recurring reporting Agent

• Incorporate real-world prompt demand data alongside your Answer Engine Insights metrics in a single automated workflow

Passing Prompt Volumes output to other Agent nodes

Like all Profound Data nodes, the Prompt Volumes node produces a named output variable you can pass into any other node that accepts text or structured data inputs.

For example, a 📄 Prompt LLMnode can summarize trending topics, surface content gaps, or draft briefs. A Slack Message node can deliver keyword insights directly to your team.
